We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to you all for your engagement in your children's learning throughout their Reception year. They have all achieved so much and grown up so fast. We have all felt proud to be a part of their learning journeys.

Next week the children will be enjoying their last few days exploring and learning about mini beasts in their outdoor environment. We will talk about our upcoming summer holidays and celebrate the friendships and relationships we have made through the year.

We wish you all a wonderful summer holiday and will look forward to seeing your children again when they start back in September,

Mrs Adams.

To help the children with their Transition to Year 1, from Monday 6th July we are asking that all parents and carers say Goodbye to their children at the yellow line in the Year 1 playground every morning.

This new routine has proven to be very successful when introduced at the end of Reception as the children have developed confidence in their setting.

It helps them when they start in year 1 to already know how to say Goodbye without needing their adults at the classroom door.

Adults will be available to support children who may need additional encouragement. Thank you in advance, we appreciate your support with this.

Please continue to pick up your children from their classrooms.

Many thanks,

Mrs Adams

Many thanks to all the parent helpers who came on our first school trip to Bocketts Farm. We couldn't have done it without you!

We all enjoyed a great day out; feeding the animals, going on a tractor ride, watching the pig race, eating our picnics and playing in the park. It was so fun!

We are so excited for our trip to Bocketts Farm on Wednesday 10th, next week! Please remember it will be normal pick up and drop off time.

Summer Fayre

We are looking forward to singing and dancing at our Summer Fayre on Saturday 16th May. We will be meeting at the front office at 11.40am and the children will be dancing on the school field at 12pm.

Your child can wear any bright coloured clothing that reflects our theme of ‘Space’.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Thanks from The Reception Team.

Nut-Free School Reminder

Please remember that our school is a nut free environment.
For the safety and wellbeing of all our children, no products containing nuts should be brought into school at any time.
This includes items such as peanut butter, Nutella, cereal bars containing nuts, and other snacks with nut ingredients.

Thank you for helping us keep every pupil safe.
